History
Tahoe Postcard was founded by Brent Gramanz in 1964. Brent’s love for photography led to producing and distributing postcards to mom & pop shops throughout the region. Soon after Brent’s images would make their way onto other products in retail stores including calendars, photo books, mugs, shot glasses, keychains and much more. Brent, with his brother Ron, expanded into new markets and started working with manufacturing overseas.
With this expansion, Tahoe Postcard became what is now known as Reno Tahoe Specialty Inc. (RTSI). RTSI entered the growing Las Vegas market with innovative souvenir products. Once established, RTSI became the largest souvenir supplier in the state of Nevada.
Gerald Gates
Gerald Gates started with RTSI in 1991. Beginning in the warehouse, promoted to postcard sales then to souvenir sales. Onto Product development and eventually VP of Operations.
In 2012 Gerald Gates became owner of RTSI with the promise to continue Brent’s legacy and grow his vision.
